Overview
This round, clear, grey-tinged glass jar was produced for S. Kirkpatrick & Co. of Nelson, one of the most extensive jam factories in New Zealand around the turn of the twentieth century. The side of the jar is embossed with the words 'K Brand registered,' and these encircle a large letter 'K'. The whole is enclosed in a circle. The neck is threaded for a screw-top lid.
