Overview
This badge was produced by the Women's National Abortion Action Campaign (WONAAC).
WONAAC was formed in July 1973 to bring various pro-choice groups together under a national umbrella. Its aim was to repeal all abortion laws, particularly as the law became more restrictive with the passing of the Contraception, Sterilisation, and Abortion Act in December 1977.
