Overview

Two men amongst the ruins on Ponape Island, Semiavine (Seniavina) Group, Caroline Archipelago. The ruins are of an old building made of basaltic rock possibly an ancient temple. Stone ruins on the island of Ponape, photograph taken in 1886 (Moss 1889: 192-204).
