Overview
This film strip is about fashion history in wool, beginning in the year 1000 and ending in 1951. It was produced by the International Wool Secretariat, which was founded in 1937 to promote the sale of wool on behalf of woolgrowers and review relevant research. It was formed by the wool boards of New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
The film strip was one of the resources used in the educational programme at the School of Home Science in the University of Otago in Dunedin (established in 1911).
