Overview
This ‘Free Cum Rag’ is an interesting example of how the New Zealand AIDS Foundation uses objects and language to disseminate its campaign to end HIV transmission in Aotearoa. The language is explicitly sexual to be relevant to the target community – men who have sex with men.
The towel was given out at Rainbow events, to volunteers who helped package safer sex products, and to sex-on-site venues.
