Overview
This poster was produced by the Alcohol Advisory Council of New Zealand (ALAC) which operated from 1976 to 2000. Its purpose was to promote the moderation of liquor, and to minimise of the personal, social, and economic harm resulting from the misuse of liquor.
The message of the poster (‘step by step – take it easy’) is reinforced by the image of two female dancers: dancing requires care, as does the consumption of alcohol.
