Overview
This gown is part of an unused set of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and is an example of the equipment worn by health professionals when testing people for Covid-19. The PPE also includes a face mask, two sets of disposable gloves, and a visor with disposable eye shield.
The PPE was gifted to Te Papa by Te Awakairangi Health Network, who provided testing services at community-based assessment centres in the Hutt Valley area.
