Photograph shows the group of buildings on the southern side of Queen's Gardens, bounded by Vogel, Rattray and Cumberland Streets (Vogel St to the right, Rattray St in the foreground, and the corner with Cumberland St on the left by the lamp-post). The building on the corner of Rattray & Cumberland Streets (Philp's Hotel) is now known as the Terminus and before its recent restoration as the Gresham Hotel.
