Overview
This portable tea stove belonged to New Zealand soldier George Henry Rogers II (1918-2002) who used it during his service in the Second World War (1939-45) in Egypt, North Africa and Italy. He may have acquired it in Egypt.
It is small, compact, and easy to assemble, so he could make a cup of tea quickly while in the field. It probably ran on methylated spirits.
