Overview
This poster was created by the New Zealand AIDS Foundation to fight discrimination against people with HIV / AIDS. The disease and discrimination had to be fought at the same time.
Images are usually more popular and engaging when it comes to poster design, but this poster's message about the double jeopardy of AIDS was powerful and clear enough to stand on its own.
Between 1995 and 2005 deaths from AIDS peaked and then fell sharply as new HIV treatments became available.
