Overview
This poster was published by the Cancer Society of New Zealand which began SunSmart campaigns in 1980 to encourage New Zealanders to protect themselves against high UV radiation levels in this part of the southern hemisphere. The poster advises that people wear SPF15+ sunscreen. The current 'slip, slop, slap' campaign now advises people to wear SPF30+ sunscreen.
The sun design by Sharon Murdoch is still used to advertise SunSmart Schools.
