Overview
This security or accreditation pass was worn during the Rugby World Cup held in New Zealand in September and October 2011.
The Rugby World Cup was a major international sporting event which was hosted by New Zealand and won by New Zealand (the All Blacks). Thousands of volunteers helped make the event viable. They were known as 'Team 2011', and were kitted out from head to toe in brightly coloured uniforms and armed with information for visitors. They played many roles from the field to city streets, welcoming and hosting players, teams, guests and fans.
Security of the Cup was incredibly detailed, with every participant, paid or volunteering, issued with a unique accreditation pass. This particular pass was issued to Grace Hutton who volunteered as a 'Workforce Squad Team Leader' in Wellington during the Cup.
