Badges like this were worn by supporters of Prime Minister Robert Muldoon (1975 - 84) who was one of New Zealand's most polarising prime ministers. For some he was the voice of the 'ordinary bloke' - for others a dictatorial bully. His main support base - older, male, blue-collar, conservative, often provincial, New Zealanders - were sometimes known as 'Rob's Mob'.
