These BANDS 4 HOPE were a fundraising and spirit-raising initiative organised by TelstraClear after the devastating Canterbury earthquake of 22 February 2011. They are red and black, the colours of Canterbury. By wearing the bands, people could show their support for those affected by the earthquakes.
200,000 bands were made, with all money raised going to the Christchurch Mayoral Earthquake Fund.
