Overview
This leave pass is part of a collection of official and personal papers which document the military service of Leonard Morrison with the First New Zealand Expeditionary Force from enlistment to repatriation.
The pass was made out to a 'Runner' (i.e. messenger) to be absent from his quarters on duty in Cologne from 0800 hours until 2100 hours on an unspecified date, presumably in 1919 when the Otago Regiment was part of the Allied Forces occupying the Rhineland.
