Overview
Formal studio portait of a bridal party consisting of bride (formerly Miss Stanley), groom (Roger Rasmussen), best man and one bridesmaid, all smiling. The couple stand in the centre of the image with their attendants on either side. The bride is wearing a floor length straight dress with long sleeves, a high neck, and a train, flat shoes, and a short tulle veil. The dress and train are made of a floral brocade or similar fabric, with a plain underskirt visible throught the split in the front of the dress. She is carrying a small bouquet of carnations and a decorative horseshoe with the words 'good luck' inscribed on its surface. The bridemaid is wearing a floor length straight dress, plain except for detailing on the shoulders and upper chest, and flowers in her hair. The men are wearing suits and bow ties. The party is flanked by curtains, and there is a small table with a floral arrangement on the left side of the image.
