Overview
This copper embroidery stencil is part of a collection of objects that once belonged to Hilda and Erna Lieber. The sisters were born in the 1890s, were educated in Wellington and later owned a small embroidery supply shop in the Wellington region. They also did a lot of needlework themselves including embroidering all their linen with a beautiful monogram - E for Erna and H for Hilda.
