Bridesmaid dress

This dress was worn by a bridesmaid at Judith Macdonald's wedding in Masterton in 1965. Judith had three bridesmaids, each living in different parts of the country. So she chose a Vogue pattern and the material, sent them to each bridesmaid, who then got local dressmakers to make their dresses. She recalls that bright yellow was an unusual colour at that time.
