Overview

A complete mere pounamu carved from kawakawa variety pounamu.

The stone is mig green in colour with mottled feather fractures, medium translucency and nclusions of chromite aggregates and tremolite crystals. This pounamu exhibits characteristics indicative of a Marsden area Westland source.
