This National Liberation Front, or 'Vietcong' flag, was hand sewn by Jeremy Lowe with fabric purchased in Wellington, New Zealand.

He made it specifically for an anti-Vietnam War protest. It was one of three made for demonstrations during the visit of South Vietnam's Premier, Air Vice-Marshal Ky, to New Zealand in January 1967.
