Originally part of a 1920s beaded dress, an enterprising dressmaker has converted the beautiful beaded chiffon into a cape, then embellished it with crimson tear-shaped paillettes (or spangles). These spangles would have fluttered with the wearer’s movements, appearing to float above the delicate fabric's iridescent pearly sequins and beaded trellis.
