Three men standing by a wooden frame on sandy shore next to hill. Image was published in the Otago Witness with the following caption: "Landing place at Disappointment Island, and frame of boat in which the men went to the mainland of the Auckland Islands (Charles Eyre to the left and John Gratton to right of boat)" (18 December 1907, p.46.).
