This handsome kahu huruhuru (feather cloak) features four horizontal lines of feathers in geometric diamond-shaped patterns, divided by a central band of käkä (native New Zealand parrot) feathers.   The patterns and lines consist of white and green kereru (pigeon) feathers, orange kaka and black tui (parson bird) feathers.  In the bottom half of the cloak there are also small diamond patterns of light green kakariki (parakeet) feathers.
