This is a souvenir of Queen Elizabeth II's tour of New Zealand and Australia,1953-54.
The plaque was originally made to commemorate Queen Elizabeth'scoronation in June 1953. It was later transformed into a souvenir for the tour by printing commemorative text on the back: 'ER In commemoration of the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand 1953-54'.
