Jonathan Mane-Wheoki

Jonathan Mane-Wheoki commenced as Director Art and Collection Services in February 2004. In this role, Mr Mane-Wheoki was responsible for leading research, curatorial, and collection management functions for Te Papa’s Art and Collection Services units. He left that position in 2009.

 

Professor Lydia Wevers

Professor Lydia Wevers has been, since 2001, Director of the Stout Research Centre for New Zealand Studies at Victoria University. A widely published scholar on New Zealand literature and culture, she is a member of the Council for the Humanities and the Marsden Fund Council, and convenor of the Humanities Panel of the Marsden Fund. Lydia is also Chair of the Guardians/Kaitiaki of the Alexander Turnbull Library. In addition to chairing this morning’s session, she has made other contributions to the Rita Angus project, including an essay to the publication RITA ANGUS: Life & Vision and a floortalk in the exhibition.
