In bringing Monet and the Impressionists to New Zealand, Te Papa is honoured to be working with a number of international companies alongside key New Zealand supporters.
Warm thanks, first, to major sponsor the Accor Hospitality Hotel Group. Most fittingly for this exhibition, Accor celebrates a 42-year French heritage and now has an international network of more than 4000 hotels in nearly 100 countries. Accor operates eight brands in New Zealand, including Sofitel, MGallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, and Ibis.
Te Papa is also delighted to welcome Visa Entertainment as the new naming rights sponsor of our flagship gallery. Monet and the Impressionists is a wonderful start to our joint intention to inspire and engage New Zealanders and visitors to New Zealand.
Without government indemnification there could be no exhibition. Te Papa gratefully acknowledges the continuing support of the New Zealand Government and the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, through the Indemnity for Touring Exhibitions programme.
Finally, the Wellington City Council has long been a champion of the city as a place that treasures the arts. Te Papa is proud to be bringing this exhibition to the nation's capital, and would like to extend appreciative thanks to the Council for its ongoing support.
