Learning outcomes

Students will:

  • Recognise the impact the work of 19th-century French Impressionist artists made in art history.
  • Examine the stylistic techniques of Impressionism, through digitally 'Impressionising' an image.
  • Identify 2–4 artists and their works featured in the exhibition.
  • Understand the function and purpose of artwork labels.
  • Create at least one label for one of the works featured in this mini-site.
