The city skyline, often a symbol of economic triumph, can also be affected by the behaviour of human beings and the forces of nature.
Mounir Fatmi equates this work to an article of clothing that no longer offers protection. Video cassettes are used to build an exterior façade of a cityscape, while unravelled videotape portrays an interior sense of vulnerability and exposure.
