Ken Aptekar adapts paintings from the past and connects them to the present.

This painting recycles a little-known 19th century Dutch painting of a windmill in an idyllic landscape. Its title is borrowed from a Bob Dylan song that was the anthem of the protest movement of the 1960s and 70s.

Aptekar believes that the simplest, most natural solutions to problems – such as renewable energy – can be beautiful.
