Amendment is a visual poem. It is a reflection and meditation on the environment – an ever-changing process that includes correction, addition, deletion, and amendment to what we know and see. The circular nature of the work seems to express the writer T.S. Eliot’s sentiment, “We shall not cease from exploration / And the end of all our exploring / Will be to arrive where we started / And know the place for the first time.” (Little Gidding)
Letters to Linnaeus 1 & 2 were created specifically for this exhibition and are an addendum to Amendment.
